Hounslow's Promise launches Hounslow Promise Alliance in collaboration with Feltham Convening Partnership

On 12 June 2025, a powerful new initiative aimed at transforming the lives of young people in Hounslow officially launched.
The Hounslow Promise Alliance, formed in partnership with the Feltham Convening Partnership, brings together local schools, businesses, charities, public services, and community groups with a shared commitment: to support every young person in Hounslow to thrive. The alliance is based on the belief that supporting young people is a collective responsibility.

Attendees were welcomed by students from Logic Studio School, who will soon join FCP’s Young Leaders and Researchers Programme. Throughout the event, presentations highlighted transformative local projects, such as initiatives supporting young people with SEND and campaigns exploring the impact of digital life on child development.
Seema Malhotra MP, who founded Hounslow’s Promise in 2019,delivered a keynote speech officially introducing the Hounslow PromiseAlliance. In her speech, she called upon local organisations to sign the Alliance’s manifesto and work together to honour the Five Promises madeto young people in the borough:
- Caring Adults – Building a network of mentors and role models.
- Safe Spaces – Ensuring young people feel secure and respected.
- Support for Teachers – Standing behind educators as a community.
- A Healthy Start – Promoting physical and emotional well-being.
- Opportunities for Youth Leadership – Empowering young people to lead and shape their futures.
“Hounslow’s Promise is about a promise we make as a community to young people, to unlock the potential in every young person” said Seema Malhotra MP. “It’s about coming together, as schools, charities, employers, and neighbours to build a community where no one is left behind. The Alliance is how we make that vision real.”

The Alliance is supported by a Manifesto, which outlines the shared commitment of partner organisations to contribute time, skills, and resources to deliver impactful programmes in education, employability, and well-being. Whether through mentorship, volunteering, or strategic collaboration, HPA invites all sectors to play a part.
With over 40 organisations already collaborating through the FCP, the launch of the HPA signals a deepening of community-led efforts to improve outcomes for children and young people across Hounslow.
For those ready to join the movement, the message is simple: sign the Statement of Support, take action, and help keep the Promise.
