The Connected Futures: Young Leaders Programme was developed to support young people aged 18-24 who are living, studying or working in the London Borough of Hounslow. It is run with the support of Hounslow Council and Hounslow Chamber of Commerce.
The pandemic has hit young people in our communities hardest. Across Hounslow there are approaching 4,000 young people seeking work. The aim of the Connected Futures Programme is to support young people in Hounslow gain the skills, experience and guidance to help them get into work or education and to achieve their goals. The Connected Futures programme pairs young people with mentor from the community. A good mentor can inspire renewed self-belief and motivation and they are trusted to be neutral and without judgement. For young people, this can make all the difference to success.

- The opportunity to volunteer for a local organisation
- The opportunity to train as a mentor to support school-aged young people in Hounslow
